Primrose police successes

Primrose police arrested 33 suspects for various crimes in the area.

It was another busy week for the Primrose police, with the arrest of 33 suspects.

The arrests were made from June 5 to 11.

The suspects were charged with various crimes, including possession of drugs, possession of suspected stolen goods, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, dealing in liquor without a licence and shoplifting.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and some of the cases were postponed.

Some of the suspects paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
