Wheelie bins are being rolled out in Germiston.
For Ward 36 the roll-out was at Potgieter Park, situated on Main Road in Fishers’ Hill, recently.
Wendy Morgan, the ward councillor for Ward 36, was present at the roll-out to assist residents.
“Everything ran smoothly, without a lot of hassles,” said Morgan.
“Not everybody was covered though, so there has to be another roll-out but the information of such will be communicated.”
Morgan added she would pass on more information to residents regarding the wheelie bins and the collection of refuse when it becomes available.
