WATCH: Meals on Wheels – making hunger history

There were six chefs for each team and their job was to oversee the teams preparing the food and to make sure that everything went well.

A vibrant atmosphere was in evidence at 83 Production Park, Unit 3, where Meals on Wheels Community Services SA (MOWCS SA), together with five teams of corporate volunteers, cooked about 3 000 hot meals for the needy on June 7.

The meals were handed out to residents of the Makause informal settlement in Primrose.
