Investigation leads to arrest

Primrose police arrested a suspect on charges of house break-in and theft.

A 23-year-old suspect was arrested on June 1 by the Primrose police on charges of house break-in and theft  in Primrose.

This came after the complainant reported to the police that he allegedly left his house at 7am and returned at about 2.30pm.

The victim also added that he, upon his return, noticed that a window had been forcibly opened.

According to the victim, he also noticed that a laptop, cellphone and amplifier were missing.

Primrose investigated the matter and managed to trace and arrest a suspect on June 6.

The suspect was detained at the Primrose Police Station pending his appearance at the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
