Primrose police arrest 34 suspects

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

It was a busy week for the Primrose police with the arrest of 34 suspects.

The arrests were made from May 29 to June 4.

The suspects were charged with various, including, statutory rape, possession of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of suspected stolen goods, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, reckless and negligent driving, theft, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition and common assault.

The Primrose police’s station commander Colonel Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and some of the cases were postponed.

Some of the suspects paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
