Cubs, Scouts put animals in the spotlight

Community collection project a great success for Cubs and Scouts.

The First Germiston Cubs and Scouts worked hard on Thursday night to remind people to help animals in need.

The youngsters held a collection for the Germiston SPCA outside Lambton Spar and thank the Spar for allowing them to do this.

They also thank the community for donating to the cause.

The Cubs and Scouts collected about R2 000 and a number of trollies of dog and cat food.

They will be visiting the SPCA soon to deliver the donations.

Youngsters are invited to join the First Germiston Cubs and Scouts.

Cubs meet from 5.30pm to 7pm and Scouts meet from 6.30pm to 8.30pm every Thursday.
