Parts of Germiston are currently without power.
The metro is aware of the power failure affecting parts of Elandshaven, Lambton, Gosforth Park and the surrounding areas.
“Our technicians are working on the problem and power should be restored at about 1pm,” said the metro’s spokesman Themba Radebe.
“The metro apologises for the inconvenience caused.”
