Service delivery protest rocks Primrose

Makause informal settlement residents demand better service delivery.

The roads surrounding the Makause informal settlement were closed this morning due to a service delivery protest.

“Though the roads in the area have been closed the protest remains peaceful with officers from the SAPS and EMPD monitoring the situation,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

It has since been reported that the protesters are on the move.

More details to follow as they become available.
