Twenty-three suspects were nabbed by the Primrose police from May 1 to 7.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.
The accused were charged for a number of different crimes.
Charges included business break-in, possession of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, house robbery, accomplice to commit house robbery, assault with the intent to commit grievous bodily harm, common assault, selling liquor without licence and shoplifting.
The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes and encouraged officers to keep up the hard work.
Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons; some have paid admission of guilt fines and been released and others will appear in court soon.
