Thirty suspects were arrested in Primrose from April 24 to 30.
This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the Primrose Police Station.
The accused were arrested on several different charges.
Charges included, hijacking, business break-in, possession of drugs, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol, attempted murder, possession of business break-in implements, malicious damage to property and shoplifting.
The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes and encouraged officers to keep up the hard work.
Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons; some have paid admission of guilt fines and been released and others will appear in court soon.
