When running a guest house, it is important to make sure your guests are happy at all times.
A few local guest house owners share some of their secrets to success which ensure guests have a wonderful experience at their establishments.
1. Give your guests a warm welcome, which can include a welcome drink and a friendly smile. Knowing their names beforehand will also go a long way in making your guests feel immediately comfortable.
2. Make your guests feel special. Do something small, like chocolates on their pillows or rose petals on the bed or in the bathroom.
3. Ask in advance if they have any special dietary requirements.
4. Make sure your guests are happy and comfortable in their rooms and surroundings.
5. Make them feel at home.
6. Cater to their needs.
7. Offer guests discounted rates or specials.
