Park in Primrose gets a clean sweep during clean-up project

‘I Love My Village’ clean-up project launched in Primrose.

The Primrose community is encouraged to unite and get involved in the Primrose Sector Three CPF’s clean-up project.

Members of the CPF launched their ‘I Love My Village’ project at Boneschans Park, recently, with a clean-up of the park and surrounds.

“The idea is to get everybody in Primrose involved in taking care of the community,” said the project manager, Craig O’Farrell.

“This is just the first of many clean-ups.

“Among other things, we want to fix potholes and street lights in an effort to make the area look better.”

O’Farrell also said the project is aimed at getting community members to work together.

“We are hoping to get the community involved as it will lead to neighbours getting to know each other better,” said O’Farrell.

“People should unite and take pride in the community in which they live.”
