Twenty-seven nabbed in Katlehong

Katlehong police’s weekend stop-and-searches yield results.

During a series of stop-and-searches held in Katlehong over the weekend police arrested 27 suspects.

The operations were conducted by the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit, with the accused being charged for various crimes.

Charges included, fraud, shoplifting, possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of dagga.

All the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
