Youth desk and police address safety issues in Primrose Sector One

Youth desk and members of the Primrose police visited Marlands and Woodmere to distribute safety tip pamphlets to residents.

Crime remains a concern for both the Primrose police and residents.

To try and tackle the problem members of the Primrose Crime Prevention Youth Desk, with the help of officers from the Primrose Police Station, visited Marlands and Woodmere to address crime issues in the area.

During the visit over 400 safety tips pamphlets were distributed to community members.

“Police and members of the youth desk also interacted with residents warning them about the top crimes taking place in the sector.

“We hope our community will take them into consideration and that the tips will help in their time of need,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

The team will continue to host similar operations in the hope of bringing an end to crime in the area.
