Police nab 22 in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

Officers from the Primrose Police Station arrested 22 suspects from March 27 to April 2.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

It is reported that the accused were arrested on a number of different charges.

Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, domestic violence, armed robbery, possession of drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of suspected stolen property, business break-in and theft, warrant of arrest and shoplifting.

The Primrose police’s acting station commander, Lieut-Col Andre Jordaan, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes and encouraged the officers to keep up their hard work.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons; some have paid admission of guilt fines and been released and others will appear in court soon.
