Elderly invited to showcase their best Easter bonnets

It’s time for Easter and with that comes the Germiston Association for the Aged (Gafa) Protea Home Easter Bonnet Parade.

The event is set to take place at 10am on April 12 in the garden at the Protea Old Age Home, on the corner of Tulip Road and Churchill Avenue, Primrose.

All elderly citizens are welcome to participate.

There will be lots of fun on the day including the Easter bonnet competition, and recreation tables which will give you the opportunity to make a bunny bonnet or do some colouring or painting.

An Easter egg hunt will also take place.
