In their continuing efforts to address crime in the Katlehong area members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit and detectives from the Katlehong Police Station held a stop-and-search operation recently.
During the operation 12 suspects were arrested on various charges.
Charges included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, theft, possession of dagga and driving under the influence of alcohol.
All the suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons, some paid admission of guilt fines and were released.
