Police target criminals in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

Primrose police arrested 36 suspects, for various crimes in the Primrose area, from March 13 to 19.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

Offences included assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, domestic violence, possession of suspected stolen property, the use of a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, murder, business break-in, possession of drugs, theft, driving under the influence of alcohol and shoplifting.

The Primrose police’s station commander Col Albertina Vesi thanked everyone who contributed to these successes, and encouraged officers to keep up the hard work.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons; some have paid admission of guilt fines and been released and others will appear in court soon.
