Man allegedly robbed while in the bath

Two men were recently arrested after they allegedly stole R3 900 worth of tools.

While in the bath in his Scorpia Street home, in Fishers’ Hill, recently, a man heard a strange noise from outside.

When he went to investigate he discovered that his garage door had been forced open and R3 900 worth of tools stolen.

“The complainant called the Primrose police and gave officers the name and description of two men he believed to be responsible for the crime,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Using the information given and after following several leads, police arrested two men, aged 29 and 33, for the crime.

Both suspects were detained at the Primrose Police Station pending their appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court on a charge of house break-in and theft.
