Albert Chita (57) was recently honoured with the Boston City Campus and Business College Germiston Perseverance Award.
The college felt he was a wonderful example to all the young learners at the college, especially as he was so dedicated.
Albert had no prior knowledge of computers when he started his course.
He attended college regularly, worked extremely hard and managed to complete all his studies in the stipulated time frame.
He passed all his final examinations on his first attempt.
