The Primrose police recently arrested a 39-year-old man, on a charge of business break-in.

It is alleged that the man made off with R30 000 worth of goods from a store in Rietfontein Road, in Primrose.

“The complainant alleged that she closed her shop in the evening as normal and when she returned the next morning she found the store’s door wide open and several items missing.

“Three speakers, a wall clock, caps, hand saws, a microwave, a money reading machine, tools, a jacket and batteries were reportedly taken from the store,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Officers from the Primrose Police Station, following several leads, were able to trace and arrest the man.

He was detained at the station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
