Police target criminals
Brig Phumla Mdlakomo takes over as station commander at the Katlehong Police Station.
The Katlehong police are continuing to tackle crime in the area, under the guidance of new station commander Brig Phumla Mdlakomo.
Last Tuesday, six suspects were arrested in Katlehong during a routine stop-and-search operation conducted by members of the Katlehong Crime Prevention Unit.
The accused were arrested on several different charges.
Charges included:
- Housebreaking and theft: 2.
- Common assault: 3.
- Possession of dagga: 1.
All of the suspects arrested are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
