Laurence Barret, one of the oldest members at Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly, was all smiles at the centre’s Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Love was in the air at Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly, on Valentine’s Day, on Tuesday.
Members were treated to a morning of song, with the musical talent of Pieter Cloete, as well as a fun interactive line dancing demonstration.
Guests also enjoyed a number of tasty treats, served to them in the beautifully decorated dining room of the centre.
Rest-a-While manager Trudy Carreira was thrilled with the turn out and success of the event and looks forward to more fun-filled events at the centre.
Trudy also hopes that successful functions such as these will help to grow membership.
The next event on the centre’s calendar is the monthly flea market, on the last Sunday of the month, February 26.

Rest-a-While Service Centre for the Elderly was full of love on Valentine’s Day, last Tuesday, as members celebrated the special day. Anna Botha (left), Essie van Jaarsveld and Roberta Joubert were dressed-up for the occasion, all sporting something red.
