Nineteen nabbed by Primrose police

The Primrose police share their latest crime statistics.

The Primrose police recorded 19 arrests from January 23 to 29, according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were arrested on several different charges in the Primrose area.

Charges included possession of drugs, dealing in liquor without a licence, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, theft, reckless and negligent driving, common robbery, malicious damage to property, murder, sexual assault, housebreaking and theft, shoplifting and contempt of court.

The Primrose police’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others will appear in court soon.
