A woman claims she was sexually assaulted while attempting to buy some chips from a Rietfontein Road shop.
“The woman told officers while opening a case at the Primrose Police Station that when she entered the shop she was accosted by a 23-year-old man who worked at the shop.
“She alleged that he started touching her on her waist and running his hands down her sides to her bottom,” said the communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.
Police travelled at the store and arrested the man on a charge of sexual assault.
He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
