Betway kicks it up a notch

The online sports betting giant will soon be live in SA.

Founded in 2006, Betway has established itself as one of the largest online and mobile sports betting platforms in Africa.

The brand itself is mapped across the world and is a favoured online sports betting provider.

Betway prides itself on providing easy-to-use technology to punters.

It offers sports enthusiasts a safe and regulated online platform on which to place their bets. The company has confirmed that its newest app will use the same high standard of security – including top level encryption used by online banks around the world – as all other Betway products.

Players can rest assured that all private information will be protected while they use the site.

The acquisition of its very first African license in Kenya sparked the decision to expand the company to South Africa, a very exciting move. The rollout is expected to take place early this year.

Betway sponsors a large number of sports club in the UK and Africa, the most notable being West Ham United, a London-based football club playing in the English Premier League.

The team has recently signed a three-year renewal and sponsorship deal with the principal partner, believed to be worth UK£10 million a year.

Betway is also very involved with a few smaller scale sponsorships, such as Ghana’s Premier League football club, Ashanti Gold, and its sponsorship of Premier League Darts across the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.

Another first for Betway is its involvement with eSports teams through the exciting sponsorship of the Ninjas in Pyjamas team.
