New committee to be elected

The Primrose Sector Three CPF encourages the community to attend the AGM on February 22.

The Primrose Sector Three CPF will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) on February 22.

The meeting will be held at Primrose Hill Primary School, 171 Cydonia Road, and starts at 6.30pm.

It is will be hosted by the Primrose CPF chairman Loma du Preez and will give the community a chance to nominate and vote for a new committee.

You are eligible to be nominated and elected if:

  • You are not a serving employee of the SAPS as regulated in the SAPS Act as amended (including, employees of the EMPD), employees of both the national and provincial secretariats of police services, employees of the independent police investigative department).
  • If you are not a SAPS reservist.
  • If you do not have a criminal record.
  • Are not an owner or employee of a private security company.
  • Are a citizen of the Republic of South Africa;
  • Are over the age of 18.
  • Do not hold an elected political position in a registered political party with responsibilities in public office.

Nomination forms and proxy letters can be obtained by sending an email to du Preez at primrosecpf@gmail.com.

In addition Ekurhuleni West Cluster CPF chairman Renee Germeshuisen, Primrose SAPS station commander Col Albertina Vesi, as well as, a representative from the MEC of community safety’s office Khehla Khambule will attend the meeting.

All residents and business owners are encouraged to attend the meeting.
