EMPD officers from the Warrants Unit held roadblocks, last Saturday, in Germiston and Tembisa.
The operations were conducted between 8am and 6pm on the M2 near Refinery Road in Germiston and on Old Pretoria Road near New Road in Tembisa.
Motorists were stopped and checked at a number of roadblocks.
Forty warrants for outstanding traffic fines were executed.
All stopped/apprehended motorists were able to pay the outstanding fines, including the contempt of court fines on the same day.
