Don’t become a victim of crime

The Primrose police urge the community to take care of their vehicles and belongings.

The Primrose police are appealing to the community to stay alert and aware at all times, as vehicle theft and theft out of vehicles remain a problem in the area.

“Do not make yourself vulnerable to crime,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

Police have asked the community to avoid parking their vehicles on the pavements or in isolated areas.

Valuable items such as laptops and cameras should be removed from the vehicle when it is parked and they should be in the vehicle’s boot while it is in use.

“Drivers should always lock their doors and close the windows when getting out of the vehicle, and must not open their windows for people along the road or at the robots,” added Maome.

He encouraged the community to report any suspicious activities in their area to their nearest police station.
