Leeuwenhof shines in IEB matric examinations

Leeuwenhof Akademie is proud of the 2016 matric class.

Leeuwenhof Akademie is thrilled with its 2016 IEB matric examination results.

The results were released last Friday and the school achieved a 100 per cent pass rate.

Leeuwenhof had 55 matric candidates who sat their final exams and between them, they attained 108 distinctions.

The school had nine subjects with an average above 70 per cent, including maths which was 72 per cent.

All 55 learners received university exemption.

Candidates who performed exceptionally well, were Charlize Herman with nine distinctions, Jo-Mari Rothmann and An-Marie van Deventer with seven distinctions – and Sarel Breedt and Pieter Coetzer with six distinctions.

The school wishes their matrics of 2016 good luck with their plans for the future.

Principal of the school Jaco Lessing said, “Well done to the 2016 matric class of Leeuwenhof Akademie for excellent results.

“You made us proud and we wish you all of the best for the future.”
