Primrose police send festive warning

It is the festive season and many community members will be taking the opportunity to get away on holiday.

With this in mind the Primrose police are appealing to residents to consider the following safety tips:

• While away get a neighbour or someone you trust to constantly check if your house is still in order, remove post and switch lights on and off.
• Ensure all doors are locked, windows properly closed and alarms activated when you are not at home.
• Know your local police sector vehicle numbers and report any suspicious behaviour or activity.
• Be careful when entering or leaving your driveway.

The Primrose Police Station commander Col Albertina Vesi further wished all residents of Primrose a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.

“The Primrose police will do their best to make our area a safe place to be over the festive season and into the new year,” she said.
