Man robbed by three men

Katlehong police arrested three men in connection with the robbery of a 50-year-old man.

While walking along a street in the Moseliki Section of Katlehong a 50-year-old man was allegedly robbed, recently.

“He told police he was talking on his cellphone when he was grabbed by three men who searched him and then made off with his phone and shoes,” said Capt Mega Ndobe, on behalf of the Ekurhuleni West Cluster.

Police were able to trace two of the men and they were arrested and charged with robbery.

“The suspects led police to the third man, who was found in possession of the stolen cellphone and shoes. He was charged with being in possession of stolen property,” said Ndobe.

The men will be held at the Katlehong Police Station until they appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
