Woman viciously beaten by boyfriend

A man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and her daughter.

The Primrose police recently arrested a 38-year-old man for domestic violence.

The arrest was made after officers were called to the scene by the victim.

When they arrived she told them that she and her children had arrived home when she noticed that something was wrong with her boyfriend.

“She asked him what was wrong but he ignored her and walked outside with her son and a sword.

“Nervous, she called her son back inside and suggested the accused go and sleep because clearly he was not feeling well,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

It was then that the victim alleges he attacked her.

“She claimed that he beat her so severely that she fell to the ground.

“Her six-year-old daughter attempted to stop the assault and was hit as well,” Maome said.

The man was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station pending his appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
