Suspects nabbed for various offences

The Primrose police shared their latest arrest statistics.

Primrose police continued their crime prevention efforts in the area, with the arrest of 29 suspects.

The arrests were made from November 14 to 20; that’s according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The suspects were charged for various crimes including possession of drugs; dealing in drugs; attempted murder, rape, armed robbery, business robbery, theft of a motor vehicle; possession of suspected stolen property; common assault; driving under the influence of alcohol and contempt of court.

A number of illegal immigrants were also arrested.

The Primrose police’s station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others will appear in court soon.

The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
