Breast cancer in the spotlight

Women urged to take care of their health.

Women are invited to come to a free breast health screening day on November 28.

The event will be held from 9am to 4pm at Supa Quick Fishers’ Hill, situated at 40 North Reef Road (on the corner of AG De Witt Drive).

Held in conjunction with Bridgestone and PinkDrive the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign is following on the successful initiative held last year.

“Bridgestone has been involved with PinkDrive for several years now,” said Bridgestone retail marketing manager, Desirée van Niekerk.

“PinkDrive conducts tens of thousands of free mammograms annually and provides awareness information to help in the fight against breast cancer,” she explained.

Bridgestone’s contribution to Pink Drive over the past few years saw enormous numbers of pink tyre valve caps sold to raise funds for cancer awareness and detection.

All women are invited to come along for their free checks.
