EMPD officers recently arrested four men, aged between 24 and 43, for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The men were arrested in a stop-and-search along Rietfontein Road.
“Members of the EMPD held the operation during which they stopped and checked vehicles.
“The four suspects were allegedly found to be driving their vehicles while under the influence of alcohol.
“They were all taken to hospital to draw blood to verify the charges,” said Sgt Styles Maome, the communications officer for the Primrose police.
The men were arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
The men appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for trial.
