Smurfiland Pre-School children and parents enjoy a day of fun at the school’s Mini Toy Run.
Two-year-old Tatum Campbell shows off her beautifully decorated bike. Tatum was just one of the children who took part in the Smurfiland Pre-School’s Mini Toy Run, held at the school, in Wychwood, last Saturday.
Smurfiland Pre-School, in Wychwood, hosted a Mini Toy Run, last Saturday.
The idea behind the event was to teach the children about donating from an early age.
They were asked to bring their push bikes and peddle bikes and to decorate them with toys they wish to donate to children in need (just like the real Motorcycle Toy Run).
The children were entertained for the day with a specially planned route on the premises, which included a fuel station, traffic light, stop street and pedestrian crossing.
After they had finished the course children could participate in a fun, interactive obstacle course set up and run by the team from Playfit.
The school was thrilled with the turnout for the third annual event, and hope to continue teaching more and more children about the importance of assisting those in need.
