Primrose SAPS shares arrest statistics

The Primrose police shared their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police continue to crack down on crime in the area.

From October 17 to 24, officers arrested 14 suspects for various offences, this is according to the station’s latest arrest statistics.

The accused were charged with several crimes, including possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, dealing in liquor without a license, house robbery, armed robbery, housebreaking and theft, common assault and shoplifting.

A number of illegal immigrants were also arrested.

The Primrose police’s acting station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others will appear in court soon.

The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
