Primrose arrest statistics

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police, with help from members of the EMPD, arrested 25 suspects in the Primrose area.

The accused were arrested on several different charges between October 10 to 16.

Crimes included possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, dealing in liquor without a licence, housebreaking and theft, possession of a hijacked vehicle, common assault, shoplifting and warrant of arrest.

Several illegal immigrants were also arrested.

The Primrose police’s acting station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.

Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others will appear in court soon.

The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
