The Germiston police are investigating a case of arson after offices at a Gosforth Park company went up in flames in the early honours of Thursday morning.
After firefighters were able to extinguish the flames, officers from the Germiston Police Station were called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
“A 34-year-old man was taken to the Germiston Police Station for questioning,” said Capt George Raphulu, head of communications for the Germiston SAPS.
It is estimated that the damage caused by the fire is about R1-millon.
