Excitement is mounting to see who will be the Gauteng winners of the Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever of the Year competition.

A gala evening is being held at the ballroom situated in Monte Casino Boulevard in Fourways, Sandton on October 14 to announce the winners from Meadowdale, Boksburg, Fourways, Strubens Valley, Centurion and Silverlakes.

The evening will not only be an occasion to celebrate all the amazing businesswomen in Gauteng but will also act as a superb networking platform.

During the course of the evening attendees can look forward to potentially winning fantastic lucky draw prizes and enjoying top-notch entertainment.

Proceeds raised from the evening will be going towards the Girls With Dignity Programme which Margaret Hirsch has been involved with for the past five years.

Everyone attending the function will be instrumental in helping towards a full year of sanitary protection for girls in less privileged areas in Gauteng.

Margaret started the Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever competition after winning several awards herself over the course of the past five years – culminating in her award at the end of last year for the CEO Magazine and Titans Of Africa’s Most Influential Woman in The Retail and Wholesale Industry in Africa.

“Winning these awards has been wonderful – both for Hirsch’s and for me personally, and I would like to see this happening to other women in business,” she said after deciding to launch the Margaret Hirsch Business Woman Achiever of the Year Award in each area in which Hirsch’s operates throughout South Africa.
