The Primrose police shared their latest arrest statistics, which stated that 29 suspects had been arrested in the Primrose area from August 15 to 21.
The accused were arrested on several different charges.
They included possession of drugs, business robbery, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, murder, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol, shoplifting and theft.
A number of illegal immigrants were also arrested during this period.
The Primrose SAPS station commander, Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to these successes.
Most of the suspects have appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their cases have been postponed for various reasons, while others will appear in court soon.
The illegal immigrants will be sent to Lindela for deportation.
