The Germiston FCS (Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences) Unit is appealing to the community for help.
They are searching for a man in connection with a recent alleged rape which took place in the Elsburg policing district.
The police need the community to help identify the suspect and to give information as to his whereabouts, so that he can be arrested and stand trial for the alleged rape he has committed.
He is described as being tall and skinny with short black hair and a dark complexion.
His age is unknown and he speaks isiZulu.
A case of rape has been opened at the Elsburg Police Station after it was alleged that the suspect and his friend approached the victim and dragged her to some nearby bushes where they both allegedly raped her.
