Twelve arrested for various crimes in Primrose

The Primrose police share their latest arrest statistics.

The Primrose police arrested 12 suspects in the Primrose area from August 1 to 7.

This is according to the latest arrest statistics released by the station.

The accused were charged on various charges, including possession of drugs, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, warrant of arrest, reckless and negligent driving, attempted murder, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and common assault.

The Primrose SAPS station commander, Lieut-Col Albertina Vesi, thanked everyone who contributed to the arrests.

Most of the suspects appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
