The Primrose police have congratulated their station commander Col Albertina Vesi who was recently promoted to the rank of full colonel and appointed as the Primrose station commander.
Vesi joined the Primrose SAPS as the acting station commander on December 1, last year.
On August 1 she was appointed to the post permanently.
“We as her colleagues wish her all the best and we will rally behind her,” said Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose SAPS. “Together we will make Primrose one of the best stations in the country.
“We are appealing to the community of Primrose to work together with us and to support our station commander.
“She is a hard-working person who always wants to go the extra mile.”
