Pupils help those less fortunate than themselves

Local nursery school collects clothes for Mandela Day, to assist the less fortunate.

As part of Ducktails Nursery School’s Mandela Day community service initiative the school collected clothes which they had outgrown from its pupils.

The clothes were packaged and donated to the children at Epworth Children’s Village.

The staff at the school thanked the pupils and their families for the generous donations of clothing.

“We received bags and bags of clothing, which were delivered to the home, last Thursday.

“The clothes will go a long way towards keeping children less fortunate than ours warm this winter,” said Linda Roberts, the Grade R teacher at the school.
