Youngster works hard for her badge

The First Germiston Cubs are hard at work earning badges.

Crystal Marais (9), a member of the First Germiston Cub Pack, recently completed one of her challenge badge requirements “make a gift and donate it to a worthy cause”.

She sewed two homemade dolls and donated them to Klein Paradis Play Group, situated in Klippoortje.

Her cub leaders are proud of her hard work.

The First Germiston Cubs (age 7 to 11) meet every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7pm, while the Scouts (age 11 to 18) meet every Thursday, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Contact Bronwyn Lyndon on 079 127 3502 for more information.
