Two arrested for dagga possession

While out conducting stop-and-searches the Elsburg SAPS arrested two men for dagga possession.

Two men were nabbed for being in possession of dagga by the Elsburg SAPS, last Thursday.

Elsburg Task Team members were conducting stop-and-searches in Dekema Road, Wadeville at about 3pm when they approached two suspicious-looking men.

The dagga which was confiscated from two men in Wadeville, last Thursday, by members of the Elsburg SAPS.

They searched the men and found a few packets of dagga in their pockets.

The men, aged 29 and 32, respectively, were arrested and detained at the Elsburg Police Station.

The dagga in the men’s possession weighed 10.5 grams.

The men have since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court and their case was postponed.

They are being detained at the Boksburg Prison until their next court appearance in August.
