The Germiston Simmer Rugby Club trumped the visiting Krugersdorp Harlequins during their Senior Grand Challenge Rugby League match, on Friday, June 17. The match was played at the Germiston Stadium, Simmer’s home grounds, and ended with a score of 27-7. The first team from Simmer played a constructive game in the first half, dominating play and scoring three tries in the first half. The team headed into half-time with 24 points on the score board to the Harlequins’ 0.
