Another taxi owner was recently shot and injured during a incident in Masakhane Street, in Radebe Section, Katlehong.
It is alleged that the victim was attacked at midnight by unknown people.
He was shot in his upper body and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
Two vehicles, including the victim’s taxi, were damaged during the shooting and both have several bullet holes.
The cause of the shooting is unknown at this stage and no arrests were made, as the number of suspects is still unknown.
